How does living matter make form?

I study how cellular behaviours, mechanical interactions and signalling collectively generate tissue-scale organisation and morphogenesis.

My research combines embryonic organoids, quantitative 3D microscopy, image analysis and physical modelling. I am particularly interested in how mechanics, collective dynamics and cell fate influence one another across scales.
