The questions I work on require experimental biology, quantitative imaging, mechanics and modelling to meet.

I like collaborations in which different disciplines genuinely change the question being asked, rather than simply contributing separate technical pieces.

Developmental & stem cell biology

Embryonic organoids, differentiation, tissue interactions and organogenesis.

Imaging

Nonlinear microscopy, light-sheet approaches, deep 3D imaging and computational microscopy.

Physics & modelling

Continuum mechanics, vertex models, inverse problems and statistical descriptions of living matter.
